CHAIR EPISODE 3
Segment 1
Nikki/Vicki tries to explain to Jessica, Natalie and Seth was going on between she and Sexy Rexy.
Nora and Troy make out but they are interrupted when Nora gets a call from Max who wants to know where the hell she is. Nora says that she will see him at the office in the morning during business hours but Max insists that she come right over to the Mill House and when that doesn’t work he begs her to come. Roxie appears in the Mill House much to Max’s distress: How did you get in here. The door was locked. Roxie: I can around the side of the house.
SuperSam rushes into Capricorn looking for Blair. He demands to know if RJ has seen her. RJ seems less than impressed with SuperSam’s “demands” but does tell him that he saw Blair earlier and she was looking hot. SuperSam observes that Blair’s car is still in the parking lot and RJ agrees that probably means she is still around.
Chad pulls away from Blair: Wait. Wait. Mrs. Manning, I don’t think I can do this. Blair: It’s Blair. There is no Mrs. Manning. Chad: Right, but there is a Mr. Manning—your husband, remember? Blair spaces out for a minute as a wave of sadness envelopes her. She says Todd’s name in a soft voice.
Todd arrives at Tea’s and tells her that she owes him.
Segment 2
Roxie wonders how she and Max got separated at the airport. Max: Continental drift? Roxie looks around and observes: Nice place but a little on the dull side. She immediately starts adding her special touches. Nora arrives and Roxie immediately becomes suspicious and territorial: Who are you? Nora asks the same question in turn but the stalemate is broken when Nora recognizes Roxie as Jessica’s birth mother. Why are you here? Roxie tells her that she and Max are “married ‘til death do us part.” Max confirms the marriage.
At Capricorn, a woman who tries to pick him up approaches SuperSam but he will not be swayed from his appointed rounds. He is on a mission, he explains. I am looking for Blair.
Hank comes in and immediately pisses off RJ. Hank wonders what is going on but when he spots the photograph of Tea he says: Oh, I see what the problem is. You saw her, huh? RJ: What do you mean? Hank: Well, I saw the picture and she called me while she was in town. RJ is shocked that Tea called Hank: Tea called you? Hank: You mean she didn’t call you? RJ: I have not heard from her since she lost her mind and left town with Manning. Hank: She did burn you pretty bad. RJ: Well, I’ve gotten over her and whenever I feel anything, I wrap myself in the knowledge that she burned Manning even worse.
Todd and Tea have a conversation in which she tells him what he needs, wants and feels.
Blair tells Chad: Don’t you worry your pretty little head about Mr. Manning. Chad: I kind of have to. He’s rich. He’s powerful and pretty violent from what I hear and you are married. Blair: Not anymore. Chad: You guys split? Blair: Completely. From now on he’s dead to me. Chad: Wow. I’m sorry. That’s too bad. Blair: It’s bad for him but good for you. Blair kisses him and starts working the shirt. Chad: What are you doing? Blair: You know when you came to the house I told you I was happily married. Now I’m happily unmarried. So… After major kissing and groping Chad stutters: So…I want to take you home. Blair: Why don’t you just take me here? They kiss. They pant. Chad helps Blair slip out of her dress and she knocks his socks off with the sight of her in her black underwear.
Segment 3
Ben visits Troy and is shocked to learn that Nikki/Vicki requested more hours for him at the clinic. Troy confides that he believed Nikki/Vicki’s true purpose was to interfere with his relationship with Nora.
Meanwhile back at Llanfair, Nikki/Vicki tries to convince Jessica, Natalie, Seth and Sexy Rexy that she is suffering from a stress reaction. She searches for anything that might convince them: Allison’s trial, Todd ruining his marriage, … but she is erratic and off the wall. Still no one buys a clue. Nikki/Vicki finally convinces them to leave and give her some peace but asks to speak to Sexy Rexy alone first so that she can apologize. As soon as they are alone she lights into him: You and me are going to get a few things straight.
Tea continues to tell Todd what he thinks, feels and wants.
Blair and Chad get truly hot and heavy. Chad seems locked in place as he stares at Blair now wearing only her black undies. Blair: Come here or are you going to wait for me to catch a cold? Chad: Now? Blair: Why not? Chad: Isn’t this a little crazy? Blair: If we wait until we are sensible it will never happen. Chad is now convinced and goes for it but as things really heat up, SuperSam arrives: Blair! Get the hell off of her.
Segment 4
Blair: Come on, Sam, you ruin everything. SuperSam tells Chad to “get lost.” Chad tries to explain that he was just going to take Blair home. Sam scoffs at the notion and says he’ll take Blair home, but Chad tries to get Blair to understand he was sincere: Mrs. Manning….Blair, your husband is… Sam cuts him off and demands that he leave. SuperSam puts his jacket around Blair. She observes as she watches Chad leave: He liked me. SuperSam: Yeah. So do I. Blair: He wouldn’t tell me my baby was dead. Just let me go. I was having some fun. Don’t I deserve that? SuperSam: Yeah, but not like this. You are drunk and out of control. Blair: Yeah and it felt good. SuperSam: Did it or are you just trying not to feel bad?
Todd and Tea continue to converse.
Troy tells Ben about Nikki/Vicki’s claim about caffeine sensitivity. Nikki/Vicki tells Sexy Rexy to never spy on her again: If you cross me, I’ll turn your two little sisters against you.
Max shows the pre-nup he signed to Nora. She essentially tells him that he is screwed because of all of the clauses added to the pre-nup. Did you consummate the marriage? Max claims not to know but Roxie swears he did. Nora asks for the videotape of the wedding he told her about. He leaves and Roxie reappears with her plans to redecorate the Mill House. Max blows up but Nora cautions to calm down. She suggests that Roxie go take a bath to relax. She leaves. Nora warns Max to stay put and not antagonize Roxie. Nora: Face it. You have been royally… Max: Consummated.
Segment 5
Nora rushes back to Troy.
At Capricorn, Hank and RJ continue to discuss Tea. Hank: You know, RJ, you haven’t been with another woman since Tea. What does that tell you? (These writers are on crack. That’s what it tells me.) RJ: I have superhuman powers of self-control. Hank: You’re not over her? (Ouch, Hank. Good looking out for your brother. NOT)
Jessica, Seth, Natalie and Sexy Rexy are at Capricorn discussing Max’s marriage to Roxie. Jessica and Natalie try to fill Sexy Rexy in on Roxie’s skill, or lack of, as a mother. Sexy Rexy rolls his eyes as Jessica describes what a wonderful mother Vicki has been.
In the meanwhile back at Llanfair, Nikki/Vicki is wracking her little brain to come up with a plan to get rid of Ben. Ben promptly arrives and confronts her about what happened at Troy’s. She concedes that what Troy described was true but now wants to explain.
Segment 6
Nikki/Vicki spins for Ben and he is snowed as usual.
SuperSam carries Blair into her bedroom. Blair: That Chad was very cute. SuperSam: I guess. He places her on the bed. Blair becomes concerned about Starr and Jack but SuperSam tells her that they are with Suzanne and the bodyguard. Blair: You’re cute too. SuperSam: Yeah and you’re drunk. You’re going to sleep it off. I’m not going to let you self-destruct. Blair: I just wanted someone nice to love me. Someone who wouldn’t do what Todd did to me.
Todd and Tea finish conversing. He leaves.
RJ claims that he only had Tea’s picture out to throw it away. He does. Hank leaves and RJ retrieves the picture.
Jessica and Natalie try to convince Sexy Rexy not to look up Roxie. Sexy Rexy is not one to easily give into someone controlling his life. He goes to the bar supposedly to get some change but he also asks RJ if he has Max’s address.
Max has collapsed on the couch with the newspaper over his head. Roxie dressed in a red and black nightie wakes him up with a start: Bedtime, baby.
Troy and Nora are shown in post-coital bliss but Troy is having a flashback to Africa. The scene shifts to a woman packing her purse. A slip of paper with Troy’s name and address is shown in one hand.
